KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia continued to exceed 6,000 daily Covid-19 positive cases with 6,509 new cases being reported for the past 24 hours.

Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in his social media post that Selangor remained as the state that recorded the highest number of cases with 2,049.

This is followed by Sarawak (530 cases), Johor, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (468 cases) and Kelantan (451 cases).

Meanwhile other states recorded less than 400 daily cases.

With the latest development, the cumulative Covid-19 positive cases in the country has increased to 518,600 cases. –MalaysiaGazette
