KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia continued to record another highest Covid-19 infections with 7,478 daily cases as of 12.00 pm today compared to 7,289 cases yesterday.
Selangor continued to record the highest number of cases with 2,455 cases today. Nevertheless, the number is a slight decrease from the 2,642 cases yesterday.
This is followed by Kuala Lumpur with 760 cases compared to 604 cases yesterday.
According to the Ministry of Health, states like Sarawak (640 cases), Kelantan (547), Kedah (542), Penang (520), Perak (264), Sabah (229) and Putrajaya (29) all recorded an increment in the amount of cases compared to the score yesterday.
Meanwhile, several other states had a drop of cases compared to yesterday. The states are namely Negeri Sembilan that recorded 370 cases today compared to 410 cases yesterday, Terengganu (117), Melaka (230), Pahang (171) and Labuan (49).
Perlis continued to record another eight new cases today.
With the latest figure, the cumulative Covid-19 cases in the country has shifted to 533,367 cases since the disease first step foot in Malaysia last year. –MalaysiaGazette
