KUALA LUMPUR – The youngest son of former Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman died at a private hospital in Kota Kinabalu today after battling with lymphoma cancer and Covid-19.
In a statement today, Musa’s office verified the matter and expressed its grief with the loss of Mohammed Hayssam, 34.
“With deep sorrows, we announce the passing of Mohammed Hayssam bin Musa on 24 August 2021. Hayssam is survived by his wife and daughter.
“We urge everyone to respect the privacy of his family during this tough period. May Allah bless his soul and place him among the righteous,” said the statement.
Mohammed Hayssam was suffering from lymphoma cancer before he was infected by Covid-19 and he was receiving his treatment at the Gleneagles Hospital in Kota Kinabalu.
His father-in-law, who is also the Chairman of Yayasan Sabah, Datuk Gulam Haidar Khan Bahadar verified the matter today. – MalaysiaGazette
