KUALA LUMPUR – After months of battling Covid-19 and topping the chart, Selangor has finally recorded a significant drop of cases by recording 979 cases today, compared to 1,558 cases yesterday.
According to the infographic issued by the Ministry of Health, the national Covid-19 infections has also reduced to 10,959 cases as of 12.00 pm today, a drop of 2,145 cases compared to 13,104 cases yesterday.
Besides Selangor, several other states also showed a reduction of cases such as Kelantan, which reported 983 cases today compared to 1,206 cases yesterday.
Perlis recorded 51 cases today, compared to 80 cases yesterday, Kedah (660 / 721), Penang (793 / 955), Perak (713 / 994), Kuala Lumpur (176 / 270), Putrajaya (18), Negeri Sembilan (110 / 165), Melaka (346 / 362), Terengganu 691 / 685), Pahang (739 / 604) and Johor (1,226 / 1,455).
Meanwhile, Sabah recorded 751 cases compared to 1,078 cases yesterday, Sarawak (2,723 / 2,943). No case was reported in Labuan.
The cumulative Covid-19 cases in the country has rose to 2,209,194 million cases with the additional cases recorded today. – MalaysiaGazette
