KUALA LUMPUR – The police are investigating a viral video footage which showed a student being used as a ‘punching bag’ at a full boarding school in Perak.
Perak District Police Chief, Datuk Mior Faridalathrash said that he has instructed the Kuala Kangsar police to investigate the incident.
Speaking to the media in Ipoh, he said that he received the viral video this morning and ordered an immediate investigation on the matter.
“Sometimes, it could have happened for a long time, but it became viral again. I have not got any confirmation. Let us investigate and verify first,” he said.
The 10 seconds video showed a male student being punched in his abdomen while being witnessed by several other students in a dormitory. -MalaysiaGazette
