KUALA LUMPUR – The dead body of a Pakistani man who was believed to have drowned after swimming at the Semenyih Dam, in Kajang on Monday was found this morning.

The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Director, Norazam Khamis said, the department received a call from the Kajang Police Headquarters at 8.55 am that the body of the drown victim was spotted floating near the bank of the dam, approximately 150 metres from the place he was swimming last Monday.

“The body of the victim was brought to the shore at 10.25 am before the medical team verified that he died of drowning,” he said.

The victim was identified as Bahar Ali, 23 years old from Pakistan. His body was handed to the police for further action. -MalaysiaGazette
