KUALA LUMPUR – As the 14th General Election (GE14) is drawing near, PAS repeated its stand that they will no longer be in the same coalition with PKR, PPBM, DAP and Amanah.
Its President, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi said in the statement today that the party is standing firm on its decision as there are many ‘crook leaders’ in Pakatan Harapan (PH) or those who abet with the veteran ‘crook leaders’.
Therefore, Hadi emphasized that his party will never compromise or hold any discussions on working with PH as what had been done by certain PH leaders prior to this.
“PAS cannot give false hope to Pakatan Harapan who became the ‘prosecutor’ of the oppressed. There are crook leaders in them and some of them used to abet with the root of all national problems,” he said in a statement today.
Hadi added, PH leaders also stood out of those who do not deserve to be a witness in a case compared to the leaders in PAS.
“Many of them cannot be a fair witness in Islam, which is the stronghold for PAS,” he added.
Hadi, who is also the MP of Marang also commended former second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, who may not agree with the government’s decision, but he did not try to topple the government in an ungentle way.
“He follows a healthy democracy concept by giving his advises. There are many more like him in the government but they did not try to topple the government in an insolent way.
“Unlike PAS, although we are an opposition, we advise and we hold on to the same principles and concept of advises,” he said. – MalaysiaGazette
