KUALA LUMPUR – The Padang Rengas Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz has hinted that the 14th General Election would be his last term as the Cabinet minister.
Nevertheless, if he managed to defend his seat and is given a chance to be in the cabinet, he would like to stay put in the Ministry of Tourism and Culture before his retirement.
“If I am given a choice by the Prime Minister as my final term of being a minister, my answer is simple. The Ministry of Tourism and Culture,” he said before ending his speech at the Istana Budaya 2018 Programme launch in Lambang Sari, Istana Budaya today.
He was appointed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as the Minister of Tourism and Culture after the 13th General Election (GE13) on May 2013.
Earlier, Mohamed Nazri held the portfolio as the Minister in Prime Minister’s Department for nine years since the 11th General Election (GE11) in 2004.
