KUALA LUMPUR – The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) arrested a woman to assist in tourism packages scam involving Dulcet Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd.

The Director of the Commercial Crime Investigation Department Datuk Seri Amar Singh Ishar Singh said, Rosemary Anak Ginam was arrested on 18 July as the director of the company.

According to Amar, the police have received reports from 136 individuals claiming to be victims of tourism packages scam amounting to a total loss of RM2,249,317.

“Rosemary was the individual signing for the bank accounts which received deposits from the victims when they made payments. She is also the individual tracked to have withdrawn money from that account,” he said in a statement today following a report by an English newspaper that the arrest of the woman for 42 days but no charges were made.

He said, the police arrested the woman to enable investigations to be done on all police reports lodged by the victims. -MalaysiaGazette

    Very easy method for them to cheat ppl..can’t trust any tour agency’s even registered under motac,matta fair n bla bla bla….stresssss
