PUTRAJAYA – The longest name in Malaysia which contained 63 alphabets and 12 words goes to Princess Aura Nurr Emily Amara Auliya Bidadari Nawal El Zendra Mohd Sufian.

The Director-General of the National Registration Department, Datuk Mohammad Razin Abdullah said that Princess Aura was born last year.

In conjunction with the National Registration Day 2018 celebration today, Mohammad Razin said that the most popular boy’s name in the country is Ismail which recorded 72,157 registrations. Meanwhile, Ahmad and Abdullah received 57,914 and 47,989 registrations respectively.

The most popular name for girls is Fatimah (74,605), followed by Zainab (41,450) and Azizah (34,414).

Mohammad Razin berkata, the name of Deputy Home Minister Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman, is the only name with a single registration in the country.
