SHAH ALAM – If there were people pulling Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim from a reversing Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) van, then, both of them could sustain fatal serious injuries.
According to the 24th witness, a forensic expert from the Kuala Lumpur Hospital, Dr Ahmad Hafizam Hasmi, the left side of the moving van is classified as the danger zone.
However, in this situation, besides Adib, the fireman, no one else was injured during the riot at the Sri Maha Mariamman temple riot.
“If it happened, the attacker was also in danger and could be injured. There could be two post-mortems,” he told the Coroner Court today, elaborating on witness, Professor Dr Shahrom Abdul Wahid’s theory earlier.
Shahrom said that there could be two attackers who caused Muhammad Adib to be injured when he was pulled out from the van and someone could have kicked the door which hit his chest.
Besides that, Hafizam, who was called back to give his testimony throughout the week said, re-enactment of the scene based on Shahrom’s theory may not be able to assist the court.
He said that it was not complete as some of the incident happened without the moving van and the force on the door did not hit Adib’s arm as alleged prior to this.
“In my opinion, the re-enactment cannot be used as some of the sequence to the injuries were not shown in the video,” Hafizam added. -MalaysiaGazette
