KUALA LUMPUR – Bateq tribe Orang Asli 3-year-old toddler Nasri Rosli, who was receiving treatment at the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital (HRPZ II) passed away at 6.00 p.m yesterday.

Nasri who had been treated since eight days ago finally succumbed to his illness making the total death toll of the Kuala Koh ‘mysterious illness’ hits 15.

It was believed that he died of lungs infection.

Minister at Prime Minister Department Senator P Waytha Moorthy said in a statement that the hospital Forensic Unit will be conducting a post-mortem on the latest victim today to confirm the cause of death.

“The Orang Asli Development Department (Jakoa) would provide help and assistance to Nazri’s family,” he said. -MalaysiaGazette
