KUALA LUMPUR – Despite the frequent squabble, celebrity Chef Datuk Redzuawan Ismail (Chef Wan) and former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak share the same taste.

Both of them chose Japanese food as their dinner yesterday.

According to Chef Wan, he thought that the waiter in a famous Japanese restaurant at the Pavilion was only kidding by saying that Najib was behind him.

“Hee Hee… last night I went to Pavilion to Kampachi to have my dinner.

“As soon as I sat the waiter told me, CW, Najib is dining behind you la.

“I thought it was a joke, when I look inside the room, there he was, speaking of the devil, dining with another guy!

“Ada aku kisah? (Am I even bothered?)” he said in his Instagram post.

The post received various responses from the netizens.

Some advised Chef Wan to stop criticising Najib. Some teased the him for detesting the former Prime Minister too much.

“Sometimes, the person we hate the most will become our good friend,” said @shohaidaahmad_2018.

On the other hand @diasara_omar replied, “You have a strong fate there, hehe.”

The tiff between Chef Wan and Najib escalated when the former Prime Minister addressed the Felda Icon for saying that the settlers are lazy and breed like cats.

Both of them then took the social media to vent their opinion.

Last week, Chef Wan was crowned as the Icon of Felda. He is also the second generation of Felda. -MalaysiaGazette
