KUALA LUMPUR – The Menteri Besar (MB) of Selangor has been criticised by netizens who wanted Amirudin Shari to put serious focus in overcoming water issues in the state.
Various spicy comments were thrown to the MB in his Twitter after he announced that he will be visiting the water plant at 1.00 pm today.
The Phase 1, 2 and 3 of the Sungai Selangar Water Treatment Plant were forced to cease operation yesterday evening due to the diesel contamination at the source.
It has caused the second huge scale water disruption in three days after the plant was closed last Thursday due to pollution.
Amirudin did not issue any statement during the first water disruption, other than sharing information on the disruption.
Rouslan, with his Tweet handle @RouslanMoktar said that it is good that Amirudin is informed about the water disruption. However, he also advised the Selangor MB to stop politicking.
“Datuk Mohamed Azmin Ali is old enough to take care of his own problem. After Khalid Ibrahim left Selangor, it has never ran out of water issues,” he tweeted.
“So sorry to be harsh. It’s been more than 10 years. Just got too fedup with mere words without actions,” said another netizen, [email protected]
MohaJeff @MohaJeff reminded Amirudin that the voters supported him so that he can help the people in return.
“The people chose you so that you can help the people,” he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Shukran Seman @ShukranSeman threw the ball back to the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government.
“Ermmm, you used to blame the Federal Government for sabotaging the water issue in Selangor. What have you to say now? The Federal Government sabotaged you too?” he said.
Amirudin received the same jest from zuno @shfqznnr: “Is there any element of sabotage here YB? Please investigate thoroughly and take the necessary actions…”
