PUCHONG – Minister of Entrepreneur Development Datuk Seri Mohd. Redzuan Yusof slammed those in the component parties of Pakatan Harapan (PH) who seemed to be in a rush to change the Prime Minister.
He said, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad should be given the assistance and support to execute the plans of the government since the coalition took over the administration of the country last year.
The Supreme Council Member of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) also said that the country is moving forward and at the right track of rebuilding the country.
“We should support the leadership of the prime minister and stop talking about power transition. On the contrary, continue doing what the government has planned to rebuild the country by providing the right base.
“The question is, why do we need to rush when the government is moving forward and is on the right track?
“In my opinion, we should focus on what needs to be done. Put politics behind us and the government needs to focus on fulfilling the General Election manifesto, not changing the Prime Minister and pressuring him,” he said when asked to comment on his advice for Ronnie Liu, in not twisting the facts on the government transition from Mahathir to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
According to Mohd Redzuan, the DAP Selangor Secretary should be grateful to the leadership of Mahathir who had created a huge surprise and led PH to win the previous general election.
“You (Ronnie) just do your work in Selangor. Let Tun M do his job at the central without any interference from the politics of rat race,” said the minister who is also fondly known as Pak Wan.
“We want to develop an entrepreneur nation by 2030. We need to help and support the Prime Minister to fulfil the national agenda.
“I do not want to talk about power transition now. On the contrary, we need to fulfil the national agenda,” he said. -MalaysiaGazette
