KUALA LUMPUR – The Member of Parliament (MP) of Klang, Charles Santiago arrived at the Bukit Aman Police Headquarters at 10.45 am today over an investigation on the statement he made on controversial Islamic preacher Dr Zakir Naik.

He managed to have a conversation with a group of his supporters who have been waiting for him since early morning upon reaching Bukit Aman.

The MP is one of the five individuals named by Dr Zakir Naik in the police report he lodged recently.

The four other individuals are namely, the Minister of Human Resources M Kula Segaran; the State Assemblyman of Bagan Dalam, M Satees; Deputy Chief Minister II of Penang P Ramasamy and the former Malaysian Ambassador Datuk Dennis Ignatius.

In the report written by Zakir, he also listed several news report link on the allegations made of the individuals he mentioned.

According to Zakir, the report was lodged so that the police can investigate those indivuduals under the Sedition Act 1948 or any other relevant acts on the slanders committed by them. -MalaysiaGazette
