KUALA LUMPUR – Kelantan Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department Deputy Chief (Pperations), Supt Abdul Rozak Muhammad, is among nine senior officers involved in a transfer exercise announced by Royal Malaysia Police (RMP).
The changes would take effect on 4 November.
RMP Corporate Communications chief Datuk Asmawati Ahmad said in a statement today that Abdul Rozak will be made Besut District Police chief in Terengganu.
Meanwhile, Kedah Commercial Crime Investigation Department deputy chief (corporate/ financial crimes) DSP Elias Omar will be heading the Kedah Commercial Crime Investigation Department with the rank of acting Supt.
Johor Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (JSJN) legal aid officer/inspectorate DSP Chan Ngai Ho will be heading the Perlis JSJN with the rank of acting Supt.
Also involved in the exercise is Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department’s DSP Integrity Compliance (1) Zone A, Standard Compliance Division, DSP Amir Hussin, who will be made the chief of Kedah Integrity and Standards Compliance Department with the rank of acting Supt.
Meanwhile, in Sarawak, state Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department Coordination DSP, DSP Rowney Michael Jalak who will be made Sarawak’s Song District Police chief while the Head of the Kuching Management Division Samima Mustapha will be heading the state’s Integrity and Compliance Department.
Also in Sarawak, Sarikei District Deputy Police Chief DSP Zamry Alli will serve as Betong District Police chief while Padawan District Deputy Police Chief DSP Merbin Lisa will be the Police chief for Simunjan District.
Another transfer in the state involved the General Operations Team (GOT) head of Kuching Police Training Centre (Pulapol) DSP Saga Chunggat, who will serve as the Dalat District Police Chief.
