Two new appointments in MACC

Datuk Seri Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya, Director of Investigation Department, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)

KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) announced the appointment of Datuk Seri Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya, as new Director of Investigation Department with effect of 24 December 2019.

Ahmad Khusairi was previously the Director of Intelligence Department.

He replaced Datuk Seri Simi Abdul Ghani, 60, who had retired after serving the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) / MACC for 36 years. Simi began his journey in the commission as an Investigating Officer in 1983.

Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya, 52, started servicing the commission in 1992 as an Investigating Officer. He had held the position as the Director of Policies, Planning and Research Department. He was also the Director of Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur MACC.

Meanwhile, the Director of Inspection and Consultation Department, Datuk Abd Aziz Aban, 55, ha been appointed as the Director of Intelligence Department replacing Ahmad Khusairi with effect of the same date.

Abd Aziz had held the position as the Director of MACC in the Federal Territories of Putrajaya, Director of Kelantan MACC and the Director of Penang MACC. -MalaysiaGazette
