LANGKAWI – The government has no problem in extending help and support to the poorer states to develop the 5G technology for mutual benefit.
“We can start everything small before it develop.
“In Malaysia, we want to share prosperity where everything is done equally and there will be no huge gap of income between the different cities of the country,” he said during the news conference after witnessing the 5G project demonstration at the Langkawi District Police Headquarters today.
Therefore, he said that the richer states need to help the poorer states and support need to be given to the races which cannot rake the benefit from the 5G technology.
Dr Mahathir said that he believes in loaning money, but not giving money. The federal government is ready to provide loans to the poorer states which needed support.
“We will help in terms of providing loans. But if they have money, please payback the loans.
“Not PTPTN in this case,” he said. -MalaysiaGazette
