KUALA LUMPUR – After the Members of Parliament (MPs) from the Muafakat Nasional bloc took the bus to Istana Negara yesterday, today, we witnessed the PKR MPs doing the same.

This morning, the KL Hop On Hop Off tour bus sent about 40 PKR MPs to the palace for their interview session with the Yang Dipertuan Agong (YDPA), Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

Among those spotted in the double decker bus to have an audience with YDPA was the President of PKR, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Besides Anwar, the Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil, Kuantan MP Fuziah Salleh, Hang Tuah Jaya MP Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin and the Sungai Petani MP Datuk Johari Abdul also took the same bus.

The presence of PKR MPs were greeted with the cries of ‘Reformasi’ (Reformation) by their supporters, including the Otai Reformasi group who were waiting for them near the Istana Negara.

As of 11.30 am, the MPs from DAP and Amanah are yet to be seen.

The interview with the YDPA is carried out to determine the number of Parliamentary seats needed form a new government after the Cabinet was dissolved due to the resignation of Dr. Mahathir Mohamad as Prime Minister and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, along with 11 PKR MPs left the Pakatan Harapan Coalition. -MalaysiaGazette
