SRC International: Latheefa has important meeting, will testify on Thursday

KUALA LUMPUR – The Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Latheefa Koya arrives at the Kuala Lumpur High Court to testify for the SRC International Sdn Bhd trial involving former Datuk Seri Najib Razak which entered its 86th day.

Latheefa however, told Justice Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali that she has an unavoidable meeting today and asked for the permission to delay her witness testimony to Thursday.

Mohd Nazlan then granted the permission for Latheefa to do so.

Yesterday, defence counsel Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah acted on behalf of the former Prime Minister by subpoenaing  Latheefa to the court to testify.

According to Shafee, besides Latheefa, the former Chief Commissioner of MACC, Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad and the former Chief Private Secretary of Najib, Tan Sri Syukry Mohd Salleh have also been subpoenaed.

Najib has been ordered to enter his defence on the SRC International trial involving the misappropriation of RM42million of its funds. – MalaysiaGazette
