KUALA LUMPUR – The Cabinet line-up which will be announced at 5.00 pm today is expected to witness ‘political outsiders’ chosen to lead important portfolios.

By incorporating the professionals into the Cabinet this time, it is hoped that the Cabinet can truly implement the agenda of national economy transformation thus, fulfilling the wish of the people.

“Not many ‘outsiders’ but enough to ensure that the Cabinet is strong,” a source told MalaysiaGazette

Above all, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin wants to ensure that his promise to appoint Cabinet Ministers with integrity and free from corruption is fulfilled. Individuals who are facing court cases are not listed in the Cabinet to provide them space to clear their names.

For that, big names such as Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Datuk Tengku Adnan Mansor and Datuk Seri Azeez Rahim were not listed to be in the cabinet this round.

Interestingly, the Cabinet is rumoured to bring in religionists so that the religious affairs can be planned out professionally and orderly.

Describing the amalgamation of the professionals, religionists and politicians under Muhyiddin’s cabinet as the #KabinetBekerjaMalaysia (Working Cabinet of Malaysia), the people are anxiously waiting for the announcement on the list of people who would be serving them the best way they could.

Muhyiddin is scheduled to have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at 11.00 am today. After gaining the consent from the King, the Prime Minister would announce the names of the Cabinet ministers at the Prime Minister’s Office at 5.00 pm.
