KUALA LUMPUR – The retail prices for petrol and diesel for the period of 28 March until 3 April drop again.
RON97 drops 6 sen per litre to RM1.68 per litre. The retail price for RON95 also reduces 6 sen to RM1.38 per litre. Meanwhile, the retail price for diesel drops 7 sen to RM1.68 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance said that the reduction of retail prices for petroleum products is due to the global fuel prices trend which dropped following the global economic uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the ministry, the government will continue to monitor the effect on the changes of crude oil price and take appropriate actions to ensure that the welfare of the people is taken care of. -MalaysiaGazette
