KUALA LUMPUR – The Serdang Hospital will begin its thorough investigation after a Facebook user alleged that she got free face masks, disposable rubber gloves and hand sanitiser from that hospital.
According to a statement issued by the Serdang Hospital, stern actions will be taken against the perpetrators if the allegation was true.
“The Serdang Hospital takes the viral issue on Zahlelawati Niene’s Facebook dated 5 April 2020 on the face mask, gloves and hand sanitiser allegedly obtained from the Serdang Hospital seriously.
“The hospital thank the public, especially the social media users who had responded to this issue so that abuse will not happen when the country is facing the Covid-19 outbreak,” said its Director-General.
