KUALA LUMPUR – The result of a poll conducted by the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) through their Twitter handle @MarkasATM recommended the extension of the Movement Control Order (MCO) to curb the spread of Covid-19.

“Returning to villages in mass can worsen the spread of Covid-19.

“It is recommended for the MCO to be extended until the end of the Aidilfitri celebration.

“Otherwise… the efforts implemented by the Government would go to waste. The outbreak will continue to spread,” the MAF twitted.

A poll was also made for the public to vote on the recommendation and majority had voted in favour of the recommendation. -MalaysiaGazette
