KUALA LUMPUR – The Hulu Selangor district has become the latest addition to the Covid-19 red zone after Kuantan.
According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), with the addition, the red zones in Malaysia had increased to 25 areas as of 12.00pm yesterday. Hulu Selangor recorded 43 Covid-19 positive cases.
Hulu Langat recorded the highest Covid-19 positive cases in Selangor with 366 cases, Petalig Jaya (313), Klang (152), Gombak (121) and Sepang (59).
The highest Covid-19 positive cases were recorded in Lembah Pantai with a total of 424 cases.
Other red zones include Kuching (198 cases), Kluang 175, Seremban 188, Johor Bahru 159, Kepong 110, Titiwangsa 101, Kinta 97, Kota Bharu 85, Tawau 67, Hilir Perak 66, Cheras 64, Jerantut 63, Jasin 54, Rembau 51, Kuantan 50, Batu Pahat 50, Putrajaya 47 and Kota Samarahan 45 cases. -MalaysiaGazette
