KUALA LUMPUR – Business premises selling electrical and electronic items, telecommunications devices and vehicles’ spare parts will be allowed to operate three times per week in Negeri Sembilan effective tomorrow.
Its Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said, the operating hours at those premises will be set from 9.00 am until 3.00 pm on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
He said, the decision was reached after a meeting with the State Security Working Committee on Covid-19 (JKKN) yesterday.
“We have revised the need for several businesses in Negeri Sembilan. Business premises involving electrical and electronic items, communications devices and vehicles’ spare parts will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am until 3.00 pm on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday only,” he said in a media statement today.
According to Aminuddin, premises selling food, drugs and other essentials for pets and hardware which was previously allowed to operated on Wednesday and Saturday only will be given an additional business day on Sunday. Its business hours will be from 9.00 am until 3.00 pm.
“The regulation will be effective from 2 May 2020 (Saturday) and the government of Negeri Sembilan will revise the regulations based on current needs,” he said. -MalaysiaGazette
