KUALA LUMPUR – The Pakatan Harapan (PH) state government in Kedah has been toppled after two state assemblymen (ADUN) from PKR ditched their party.

The Sidam ADUN Dr. Robert Ling Kui Ee and Lunas ADUN Lunas, Azman Nasrudin announced their decision in a joint news conference just now.

The duo said that they have lost their confidence on the leadership of PKR led by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and decided to leave the party with immediate effect.

“Robert Ling Kui Ee and I give our support to Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

“From now on, we are no longer the member and ADUN of PKR,” Azman said in a news conference today.

With that declaration, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir has automatically lose his position as the Menteri Besar of Kedah as the PH government in that state only dominated 17 seats. Meanwhile, the Perikatan Nasional (PN) has 19 seats. –MalaysiaGazette
