KUALA LUMPUR – The Supreme Council of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) is expected to hold a meeting tonight without inviting its Chairman, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

A notice of meeting distributed by the Secretary of Bersatu, Capt (R) Muhammad Suhaimi Yahya was circulated in the social media listing the invitees of the meeting. It referred Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the President and the Acting Chairman of the party.

The meeting also invited the Vice-Presidents, chief of Srikandi, Secretary-General, Treasurer, Information Chief and the Supreme Council Members.

The distribution also did not include its Deputy President, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir in its invitation.

A close source to Dr Mahathir verified that the former Prime Minister was not invited to the meeting when contacted by MalaysiaGazette.

Muhyiddin returned to his office today after completing his 14-day quarantine. –MalaysiaGazette
