KUALA LUMPUR – Tan Sri Annuar Musa verified that the Muafakat Nasional (MN) Committee meeting two weeks ago had agree to support Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the Prime Minister for the Perikatan Nasional (PN) if they win the 15th General Election (GE15).
The Secretary-General of Barisan Nasional (BN) said, both parties, namely, UMNO and PAS agreed with the nomination and will bring that for discussion in their parties.
“We discussed about that two weeks ago between the two parties, UMNO and PAS. We have reached a decision to support Muhyiddin as the Prime Minister and member of PN.
“What the President of PAS, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said was to discuss about this according to a united stand,” he told the journalists after handing out temporary licenses to 97 roadside traders at Taman Setapak Indah today, elaborating Abdul Hadi’s statement that PAS expressed its support for Muhyiddin’s leadership and the political cooperation in PN for the welfare of the people and the country.
According to the Member of Parliament of Marang, they are united in strengthening their understanding and cooperation for political stability, welfare of the people and the prosperity of the country. –MalaysiaGazette
