Residential customers to receive detailed statement of BPE with July TNB bill


KUALA LUMPUR – Residential customers of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) will be receiving detailed statement of the Bantuan Prihatin Elektrik Tambahan (BPE) in their July 2020 bill.

The detailed statement will be received within seven days via post after their meter is read by TNB.

Customers may also view their electricity bill and detailed statement through TNB’s portal or myTNB mobile application 48 hours after receiving the Customer Notice.

“As a residential customer, you will enjoy Bantuan Prihatin Elektrik Tambahan from the Government of Malaysia reflected in your bill.

“You will receive your July 2020 electricity bill and a detailed statement of Bantuan Prihatin Elektrik Tambahan. These will be delivered to your premise by post within seven days,” TNB said in a statement.

According to TNB, the meter reading for July will be done at the premises of the customer beginning 3 July 2020 and the customers receive the Customer Notice after their meter is read. –MalaysiaGazette
