SHAH ALAM – The police are tracking several other men believed to be involved in the rape of a 13 year-old girl with the permission of her father.
Deputy Police Chief of Selangor, Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed said, right after the arrest of the 43 year-old man, the police found that the suspect also forced his wife into prostitution for several foreigners.
“Based on our investigation, the man also raped his own daughter and forced her into prostitution along with his wife to foreigners.
“Following that, the police have arrested that man and several foreigners in different locations after receiving the report,” he said in a news conference at the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters.
According to him, the five foreigners arrested were four Pakistanis and one Bangladeshi aged between 25 and 40 years-old.
All suspects are on seven day remand until Monday to assist into the investigation under Section 376 (B) and Section 372 of the Penal Code and Section 43(1)(b) of the Child Act 2001.
Arjunaidi also urged public with information on the case to contact their nearest police station or the Investigation Officer, Assistant Superintendent Mohd Radzee Jamudi at 019-665 5811 or 03-891 14222.
The suspect who is also the father to the victim went on hiding after realising that the police have been alerted on his act. However, the police managed to nab him after receiving information and intelligence on the case.
Meanwhile, five other men who abetted in raping of the suspect’s daughter and wife were arrested in Cheras and Kajang yesterday.
According to Arjunaidi, the suspect started to force his daughter and wife into prostitution since last year until February 2020 and they were forced to serve the sexual desires of over 20 men. –MalaysiaGazette
