KUALA LUMPUR – Parents are urged to ensure that only healthy children are sent to schools as the school session reopens tomorrow.
“I would like to remind everyone to practice self-control and work together in curbing the spread of Covid-19,” said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The school session will open in stages beginning tomorrow for Form 1 until 4 and remove classes and Year 5 and 6 students at all schools.
According to the Senior Minister (Security Cluster), all schools have made preparations according to the standard operating procedures (SOP) in receiving the return of their students.
Thus, the parents are urged to provide similar cooperation.
Ismail once again reminded the public that despite the government has given leniency under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), the people should not take things for granted.
Everyone plays a part in protecting the community.
According to him, several countries, including Hong Kong had to impose their movement control again by closing schools and economic activities due to a spike of infection after reopening those activities.
“We need everyone’s cooperation to break the Covid-19 chain. Obey all SOPs if we do not want to return to the MCO.
“Continue to practice self-control as the pandemic is still around us,” he said. –MalaysiaGazette
