KUALA LUMPUR – “Justice is done,” Latheefa Koya commented on her Twiter after the Kuala Lumpur High Court delivered the guilty verdict on former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak over criminal breach of trust, power abuse and money laundering charges involving RM42 million of SRC International Sdn Bhd funds.

Latheefa, who is the former Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) said, that Malaysians can all be grateful to the true heroes from every level of the MACC as they had investigated and built up the case when Najib was still in power despite facing great personal risk.

“And well done to the prosecution team as well!” she twitted.

Judge Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali while reading out the verdict said that the defence had failed in raising reasonable doubts on the case charged against Najib. –MalaysiaGazette
