PUTRAJAYA – The ‘Malaysia Prihatin’ spirit needs to be manifested not only by those at the frontline but should encompass people from all walks of life who are also the unsung heroes.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said, the people had come forward and extended their help and support beyond their race, religion and political inclination.

He said, it was a good sign and it proved that Malaysians can be united in good and bad times.

“Truly, we want to ignite the Malaysia Prihatin spirit in our lives, not only in our efforts to end the Covid-19 pandemic, but also in our efforts to recover our economy and the lives of the people towards a better future.

“We need to sew Malaysia Prihatin in our minds so that we can strengthen the core of unity, harmony and well-being of Malaysians.

“We need to put our efforts and will in doing this together,” he said while delivering his speech in conjunction with the 2020 National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang Celebration at the Perdana Putra Square today.

Expressing his gratefulness to Allah SWT for the peace and harmony, Muhyiddin also invited Malaysians to continue to enliven the harmony for the beloved country and dignify the agenda to build the nation. –MalaysiaGazette
