PUTRAJAYA – Datuk Dr Rohaizat Yon who retired on last June has returned to serve the Ministry of Health (MOH) until the end of this year.

Director-General of Health, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah made the announcement of his reappointment at a news conference today.

Dr Rohaizat retired on 10 June after serving the ministry for 35 years. Known as one of the ‘war general’ alongside with Noor Hisham, he has been with Noor Hisham in facing the Covid-19 war since the end of last year.

Dr Rohaizat was appointed as the Deputy Director-General of Health (Medical) on 25 March replacing Datuk Dr Azman Abu Bakar. Earlier, he was the Director of Planning Division of the Ministry since February 2017. –MalaysiaGazette
