KOTA KINABALU – The Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Hajiji Mohd Noor denied that the leadership of Barisan Nasional (BN) was dissatisfied with the formation of the state Cabinet.
According to him, the state Cabinet positions allocation was well received by the Sabah.
“There is no speculations on dissatisfaction. UMNO is here,” he said during his maiden news conference as the Chief Minister of Sabah today.
Earlier, he said that there would be two changes in the senior portfolio of the Sabah Cabinet involving the Ministry of Local Government and Housing and the Ministry of Infrastructure Development in Sabah.
According to him, the portfolio of the Ministry of Sabah Infrastructure Development will be shouldered by Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, who is also the Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah I.
Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun who is also the Deputy Chairman of Bersatu in Sabah would be the Minister of Local Government and Housing cum Finance Minister II.
The changes of portfolio took place three hours after the sworn-in ceremony.
Hajiji however, did not answer if Tan Sri Musa Aman would be appointed as the Yang Dipertua Negeri (TYT) of Sabah. – MalaysiaGazette
