PETALING JAYA – Although Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that he has obtained the support of more than 120 Members of Parliament to form a new government, the President of PKR did not reveal the name list to his political alliance.

It was also reported that DAP and Amanah did not request to see the name list of those who supported Anwar. Nevertheless, the list is said not to contain any members from PAS.

According to Sinchew Daily, DAP and Amanah have voiced their opinion during Pakatan Harapan (PH) Presidency Council Meeting on Monday. They also stated the terms and conditions for the formation of the new government which included not accepting UMNO leaders who were shackled by corruption issues such as Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

“We discussed about the conditions of support Anwar and he agreed with them.

“We will not tolerate in terms of defending justice and fighting corruption,” said the source.

According to the source, DAP and Amanah stated that they do not want to work with parties but will do so with individuals.

“This is just like those who joined Perikatan Nasional (PN), at the capacity as individuals and not the party who joined PN,” said the source.

Meanwhile, the source also said that the Members of Parliament who changed wind to support Anwar had not put any terms and conditions.

“They were not promised any position in the government or ministerial posts,” said the source. –MalaysiaGazette
