News portals reported that the MP from DAP accused Annuar for selling 42 plots of Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) land since he assumed the position as a minister and questioned the status of the land sales.
According to Kok Wai, many lands have been sold to the private companies for development as housing and mixed commercial projects since Annuar became the Minister of Federal Territories.
In a news conference answering the accusations, the Ministry of Federal Territory said: “I repeat this, as of this moment, I have never received any application from DBKL to sell any of their assets.
“I am disappointed with the slander from the DAP leader who attacks other Member of Parliament. He has the chance to ask in the Parliament and for me to reply but he chose to make statements outside the Parliament.
“Therefore, I have instructed my lawyer to take legal process against him according to the existing process,” the MP of Ketereh said during the news conference. -MalaysiaGazette
