KUALA LUMPUR – The Muar Member of Parliament, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman apologised to the Crown Prince of Johor (TMJ), Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim.
He also thanked Tunku Ismail for contributing RM300,000 to the residents of Muar.
“As a human being, I am never free from making mistake. I take this opportunity to apologise if I have offended Tuanku and your family’s feelings,” he said in a video recording today.
Terima kasih Tunku Mahkota Johor atas sumbangan yang diberikan ke Muo.
Patik & orang Muo terhutang budi ke Tunku.

Prior to that, TMJ uploaded a picture of a cheque contributed by him to the people of Muar amounting to RM300,000.
However, in an Insta Story, TMJ said, “No need to steal money from the people while still having a case with the MACC. No need to lie, no need to act and no need to shave head bald. Enough of using the people of Muar for personal advantage, especially when you are a Singaporean Arab and not a Johorean.”
Meanwhile, Syed Saddiq also gave thanks to TMJ for helping to realise the construction of the Tunku Ismail Youth Centre in Muar.
According to him, the approval process was obtained with the cooperation from the then Prime Minister and Menteri Besar of Johor. However, with the consent of the Sultan of Johor and TMJ in the dealings of the land, it could become a reality.
“As a pure Johor-born person, I grew up and studied in Johor, I am indebted to Tunku and family,” said Syed Saddiq. –MalaysiaGazette
