KUALA LUMPUR – A doctor working for the Ministry of Health (MOH) has passed away, possibly due to fatigue and workload for fighting Covid-19.
The death of Dr Ali Noor Hassan became viral after his story was shared on the Facebook by Skuad Pengurusan Jenazah Malaysia (SPJM), where Dr Ali Noor was also a registered member of the squad.
SPJM said that Ali fell sick and was unwell since the spread of Covid-19.
“We just received the news about the death of Almarhum Dr Ali Noor Hassan through his Facebook page.
“This is his final picture, taken by his friend before he fell sick due to fatigue and workload, besides the lack of time to rest after working as the frontliner of MOH to curb the spread of Covid-19.
“He fell asleep while working and he fainted,” SPJM wrote.
The squad expressed that his demise is a loss for the committed frontliners.
The MOH has yet to verify the matter. –MalaysiaGazette
