KUALA LUMPUR – The police is waiting for the feedback from the Deputy Public Prosecutor’s (DPP) office following the investigation on a businessman with Datuk Seri title, who was arrested for allegedly molesting her 20 year-old daughter.
The Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Commissioner Datuk Saiful Azly Kamaruddin said that the investigation papers on the case have been completed and submitted to the DPP’s Office.
However, he could not share further details on the investigation of the case but merely answered, “Have not got the instruction from DPP.”
On 15 January, MalaysiaGazette reported on the arrest of a Datuk Seri, for being suspected of molesting his daughter for over a decade.
The suspect, who is in his 50’s was arrested in his house at Taman Kosmo Jaya, Sentul at 3.00 pm after the 20-year-old victim lodged a report at the Dang Wangi Police Headquarters on 14 January as she could not take it anymore.
She alleged that the suspect has been molesting her since she was 10 at their house. –MalaysiaGazette
