KUALA LUMPUR – The daily Covid-19 positive cases is on a rising trend for five days consecutively.

As at 12.00 pm today, 6,517 new positive cases have been reported, said the Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah.

On his official Twit Handle, the new figure has shifted the cumulative Covid-19 cases in the country to 2,535,338 cases.

Detailed information on the positive cases will be uploaded to COVIDNOW.

“Daily data will be updated to COVIDNOW after midnight,” he said.

The daily cases began to show an increasing trend since 8 November and yesterday, Malaysia recorded 6,323 new Covid-19 positive cases.

On 8 November, the daily Covid-19 cases was at the 4,000 range with 4,543 cases. The situation however, did not last long as the number continued to increase every day since. -MalaysiaGazette
