KUALA LUMPUR – The trailer driver who rammed into the pedestrian bridge steel frame of the Sungai Besi–Ulu Klang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) construction site at the Middle Ring Road Two (MRR2) near Desa Tun Razak, Cheras, Kuala which resulted in the death of two passengers of a factory van, is remanded for four days until 7 March.

The Dang Wangi Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Zainal Abdullah verified the remand order.

The 40-year-old driver is remanded to assist into investigation under Section 15(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.

The trailer driver from Perak was unhurt in the incident. He was tested positive for drugs. –MalaysiaGazette
