KUALA LUMPUR – The number of new Covid-19 positive cases continued to move on an upward trend with the daily cases of 4,865 today.
This was an increment of 419 cases compared to the figures yesterday, thus, shifting the cumulative cases in the country to 479,421.
The statistics from the Ministry of Health (MOH) showed that the Covid-19 infection in Selangor remained the highest with 1,743 cases today compared to 1,650 cases yesterday.
This is followed by Sarawak with 512 cases and Johor, 407 cases.
“Sabah (95), Kuala Lumpur (477), Penang (220), Negeri Sembilan (149), Kelantan (406), Perak (160). Meanwhile, in Kedah 244 cases, Melaka (127), Pahang (152), Terengganu (156) and Putrajaya (9),” said the ministry.
Perlis and Labuan, which did not record any case yesterday, have respectively recorded two and four cases today. – MalaysiaGazette
