UPKK Ujian Penilaian Kelas KAFA

KUALA LUMPUR – The Ujian Penilaian Kelas KAFA (UPKK) examination scheduled on 4-7 October for year 2020 and 2021 candidates simultaneously has been postponed to 15-18 November.

The decision was made after taking into factor of the current situation and review made by the Ministry of Health (MOH), Ministry of Education (MOE) and the decision of National Security Council (MKN) yesterday.

The Minister at Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Idris Ahmad said that the government will always pay serious attention on the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially from the safety aspect of the students and all staff on duty during the examination.

He said, the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), with the cooperation from all agencies has prepared an action plan to ensure that the UPKK can be implemented and run smoothly.

Idris added, JAKIM is optimistic with the current government’s efforts to achieve herd immunity, thus, it would only allow invigilators with two complete vaccine doses to be on duty at all examination centres.

He said, the reopening of school session for UPKK candidates will be made according to the Ministry of Education (MOE), on 3 October in stages according to the phases of the National Recovery Plan (PPN). – MalaysiaGazette
