KUALA LUMPUR – 11,889 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded today, turning the cumulative cases in the country to 2,257,584.
According to the Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, Sarawak remained as the largest contributor of Covid-19 cases in the country by recording 2,413 daily cases.
It is followed by Selangor (1,568), Johor (1,217), Perak (959), Sabah (872), Kelantan (858) and Pahang (831).
Besides that, Penang recorded 779 cases, Kedah (710), Terengganu (699), Melaka (378), Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (289) while Negeri Sembilan recorded 197 cases.
Meanwhile, Perlis, Putrajaya and the Federal Territory of Labuan recorded less than 100 daily cases with Perlis (81), Putrajaya (36) and Labuan (2).
For the record, 12,735 Covid-19 positive cases were recorded yesterday, meanwhile, 17,725 patients recovered from the disease. -MalaysiaGazette
