KUALA LUMPUR – Kedah State Government announced its special Aidilfitri cash aid to the state civil servants today.
Its Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Muhamad Sanusi Md Nor said that the RM1,000 special aid was approved in the Exco meeting today.
“The Kedah State Government Exo Meeting approved the Aidilfitri Special Aid for the Kedah State Civil Servants amounting to RM1,000 each.
“The approval includes all civil servants of various ranks and posts involving an allocation of RM5.35 million,” he said in a statement today.
He added, the state government also granted the special Aidilfitri aid to 2,050 Chairmen and Secretaries of the Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK) in the state with an allocation of RM305,750.
According to Sanusi, the special aid will be channeled through their respective State Assembly Service Centres.
Last year, the similar amount was also given by the Kedah State Government to 5,300 civil servants. -MalaysiaGazette
