PUTRAJAYA – The body of former Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN), Allahyarham Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa arrived safely at his house in Precinct 10 at around 8.25am this morning.
Dressed in all black, his family members and friends received his body at 7.00 am.
He would be given the final respect by his close family members and friends before he is laid to rest.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob is scheduled to arrive at the former KSN’s house at 9.30 am today to pay his final respect.
Earlier, Ali, 66 was flown from Ireland and arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at around 6.30 am this morning.
He will be brought to the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque at Precinct 3 for the final respect at the Sheikh Daud Al-Fathoni Hall from 11am – 1pm.
A funeral prayer will be held after the zohor prayer at the Main Prayer Hall of Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque before is he laid to rest at the Precinct 20 Muslim Cemetery.
He served as the KSN for six years from 2012. He passed away at the Dublin Hospital in Ireland last Thursday. -MalaysiaGazette
