KUALA LUMPUR – The police did not find any criminal element on the voice clip of an individual describing the situation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to a ‘Datin’.
The Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim said that the police had returned the case to the ministry for internal investigation.
“There is no criminal element that we need to investigate. We have referred the case to Wisma Putra for their internal investigation,” he said in a news conference at the Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent Headquarters today.
On 12 April, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conducted an internal investigation and a lodged a police report on a man who allegedly sent his voice recording to a ‘Datin’ on the issues related to the ministry.

A 2 minutes 25 seconds audio clip went viral in the social media on the voice message from a man to ‘Datin’, telling her about the internal problems in that ministry.
